About Us · Est. 2010

Home of the Genius.

Since 2010, Mulika 'A' Mentorship Centre has been built on a simple belief: every child can perform at the top of their class if the teaching is close enough, small enough, and consistent enough. We run it the way we'd want our own children taught — and have, for over a decade.

Our Story

Why "Mulika"?

"Mulika" means to illuminate — to shine a light. That is the job we've set for ourselves: not to hand children answers, but to light up the method behind them, until Mathematics, Sciences, and Languages stop feeling like separate mountains and start feeling like one skill — thinking clearly under pressure. Our centre in Kikuyu, Kidfarmaco was opened to give families a place where that kind of teaching happens every day, holiday or term.

Mulika 'A' began in 2010, starting small in Kikuyu with a handful of students and one conviction: that focused, well-taught small-group lessons could change what a child believed was possible for themselves. That conviction hasn't changed since — only the number of students we've been able to reach. For over a decade now, we've been nurturing greatness, one report card at a time.

We started with holiday mentorship because that is where most students either fall behind quietly or catch up decisively. A structured, well-taught holiday programme — Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM — can do more for a child's confidence than an entire rushed term.

Our Mission

Elevate every grade to a level it hasn't reached yet.

We measure ourselves the same way a report card does — subject by subject, term by term — and we don't consider a student "done" until the grade actually moves.

What We Stand For

Four things we don't compromise on.

01

Personalised attention

No child sits through a lesson pitched at the wrong level. Tutors check understanding before moving on, not after the test.

02

Concept mastery over memorisation

We teach the method first. A student who understands why an answer works can handle a question they've never seen.

03

Exam preparation, deliberately

Timed practice, past-paper technique, and marking that mirrors KPSEA and KJSEA standards — not guesswork.

04

Achieve excellence, visibly

Parents get to see progress, not just promises — through regular feedback on where a child stands, subject by subject.

Come see the difference in one session.

Small groups. Real feedback. Grades that actually move.
